Kelvin grew up as the son of a mill worker and a nurse. His parents taught him the importance of hard work and self-discipline at an early age. As a lawyer, Kelvin has incorporated those lessons into his personal and professional life.
Kelvin has a passion for the law and has spent his entire professional life in various aspects of the law. Before practicing law, he was a Juvenile Probation Officer and later an Adult Probation Officer. Those experiences gave Kelvin a better understanding of how to navigate criminal courts. Kelvin also worked in the Oil & Gas industry throughout Ohio, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia. His time there provided him with a wealth of knowledge concerning contracts, mineral rights, title opinions and probate. As a practicing attorney, Kelvin has represented clients in multiple counties throughout western Pennsylvania.
Kelvin is an alumni of Radford University, where he graduated with a B.A. in Criminal Justice and Political Science. He later furthered his education by obtaining a Juris Doctor (J.D.) from the University of Cincinnati College of Law. Kelvin is admitted to practice law in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania State Courts and the United States District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania. He is a member of the Allegheny County Bar Association, Pennsylvania Bar Association, and the Pennsylvania Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.
Kelvin is married and resides with his wife in Allegheny County.
